tonight I have look around for some german Battleships and I found a very nice new
one. The Bl?her. This ship was only in battle for a short time but it was 1940 the
best battleship for oversea. (Hope I translated right) :)

Also I don't know it by hart but the Gneisenau is also a nice one for this game. Also a
Battleship. I will also have a look over some other ships I could recommend for that
game but that are the two ships I know until now.

Jehuty, the problem with the Z99 is that it makes the kberg totally obsolete.

How about adding: - the DKM EMDEN (CL)
- the Lutzow (CL)
- the SMS Koenig (BC)
- the SMS Bayern (BB)
It's true that some of these ships were made during WW1. But there weaponery
was the most modern. They could fit fine into the KM navy tree.

yeah everyone that plays the KM route feels we need more ships. Understandable.
But then we get a Super DD. Games get locked out not just for the KM but for DDX
as well. So if they do give us a new one, which i dont see happening but would be
happy n .onetheless =P Who's to say it wont be nerfed out of games like these little
mean DD's? I remember quite a while back ppl saying km need new/better ships. as
soon as z99 comes along km players stop complaining half as much but other
nations scream foul!

Its an endless cycle...

Schleswig-holstein was a pre-dreadnaught BB. Armed with 280mm and 150mm main
guns. I believe it was actually docked in the port at the outset of hostilities, so it
was nicely placed to shell the port.

Don't have all the info but someone else will no doubt fill in the details for ya

Good Link. It could be fun as a lvl 45? BB :p or a quirky CA (to make it
competitive) ...a real close in slugger!!!!!

Yes, damaged by guns, then finished off with torps.

In fact Bluecher was not sunk by the 28cm guns.
She received two 28cm hits (AA-Commandpost and aircraft-hangar) and around 20 hits from
15cm guns. This caused a huge fire midships but didn't lead to the sinking.
After this, Bluecher was finally hit by two 45cm Whitehead torpedos. The
engine-rooms were flooded and the ship capsized.

The germans had three Hipper-class ships in service (Admiral Hipper, Bluecher, Prinz Eugen)
and two more in construcion (Seydlitz and Luetzow).
The construction of Seydlitz was later stopped and a redesign to an aircraft-carrier was
planned.
Before Germany declared war to Russia, unfinished Luetzow was sold to them and the
Panzerschiff Deutschland received this name.

As far as I can recall, the Blucher was a heavy cruiser of the Admiral Hipper class,
which sank during the German invasion of Norway in 1940. She was sank after being
hit by numerous rounds coming from the island fortress of Oscarborg.
