I prefer the 3.46" over the 5" AA. The .80 sec. reload time is awesome especially
when you have high level AA gunners. It also depends on how good your AA
gunners are. It takes time to learn how to shoot down planes. But when you get the
hang of it, its a pretty site to see.

Shoot aircraft that can actually harm you, like bombers and mabye some scouts that
are serving as spies for enemy BB's >_<

I have no problem with 5" on my Hipper use them wisley and dont spray all ammo
over nothing.

5'' flak are a must on Hipper, but you have to fire wisely in CL CA BB games and extra
wisely in all welcome... otherwise you'll end ammo when you really need it.

i like the 3.65 , there's just 1 problem. They dont have a good range...

g0ast that "if anything gets past those..." is only true when facing CV1 or below.

I havn't tried the 5" AA yet, but my AA gunners are about 3k exp from getting to lvl42 (upgrade time!). When they become Rapid fire gunners, they become just godlike in the .80 sec reload AA guns, you can set them on gradual and each gun shoots the same amount of shells that all 6 guns do at once when you have just regular AA gunners.

If anything gets past those guns, then you suck with AA my friend.

The superior damage and range of the 5's make them ideal in CL/CA games. You don't get enough ammo with them really for all welcomes. It depends on which game type you play more often.

You can mount the 5" flak, but your not going to have as much ammo with them. I use the 3.46" because the reload super fast and I can carry more ammo then I will ever be able to shoot.
