if the file is to big that means you saved it as a bmp (bitmap) your petter off saving it as a jpeg file as that reduces size alot

If you want to take a screenshot - follow these steps

1) Find what you want to take a pic of (say cheese)
2) Press the Prt Scr button
3) Open a picture manipulation program such a Paint
4) Create a new file (ctrl - n)
5) Paste (ctrl - v)
6) Save

There you go, you have taken a screenshot :)
