  • Clan or not to Clan this is the question

Alright it's me again. I hate to ask dumb questions, but it's the only real chance I
have to find things out, as I'm usually dodging walls of torps in game. I see alot of
clans on the server I play on (Prince of Wales I guess now), and was wondering just
how they work. The ones I see are mixed, that is they do not seem to adopt an allie
or axis only class. If the game was indeed a role playing sorta thing you would
think that there would beactual navies, re: British Navy (and allied comonwealth
countries), U.S. Navy, Imperial Japenese Navy, and the German Navy, these could be
broken further into fleets etc...
What I see a just a bunch of groups that go out, and battle 2 or 3 at a time vs.
whomever is there. Is there any advantage to being in a clan? Is there any nation
clans? How does the hierarchy work in a clan, does experience earned by the little
ones funnel upwards in some way to benefit the upper clan structure? I have a
bunch more questions and if you have any clan info, please feel free to post it here
so I can read through it. I guess I'm starting to evolve a bit as a player and wonder
if the game could have a bit more structure added to it, and if a clan would be one
way to do this. Let me know guys & gals.

Keep the shinny side up!

Hi,
If your wanting a historical based WWII game - then your in the wrong place!! The
ships use historical style platforms but there is nothing historical about the ships
limitations concerning what you can put on them!!

The Fleets with exception of the UAF on the Bismarck (seattle) server, are not
historical at all. I can't speak to your server, but I do have a ship on there that is
very low level. The United Allied Fleet attempts some realism in its organization,
some is better than none I suppose!

I would advise you to enjoy the opportunities of a clan, get team speak and make
new friends - play to your hearts content. But do not anticipate anything historical
to come from it!!

If your interested in organizing a historical based clan, I would be happy to assist.
It would give me a valid excuse to play on the Prince of Wales (Vancouver) server!
