Scouts were equiped with depth charges/bombs and sometimes even a torpedo or two... Now the point isnt to take out a ship with a scout, it is to damage a ship... It would be fun to set up an attack and see if you did/didnt hit a target... Now scouts in WW2 mainly attacked subs and DDs, if a scout saw a CL/CA/BB/CV it would report back to the fleet and track the ships/fleets movements without giving away its position... CLs usually meant a fleet was around so unless it was damaged and alone the scout would not have attacked it... Now the NF team could make it to where scouts could only reload once and after a certain amount of time has expired, as to prevent players from using their scouts as in a bomber role... I would like to see my plane load up with 1 bomb and try to damage a ship. And glide bombing isnt that accurate unless at low altitude, thus making the scout either risk it with AA fire or play it safe and most likly not hit the target.
