Okay.

I drive a Kuma right now.

I start on the front line, get out ahead, launch my first wave...

And some NDD or FF races out in front of me and runs down my torps like they've got a
shark mouth that can gobble them up...

I've asked, and told, the players around me when I'm going to torp, and not to get in the
way, as I leave the leftovers for them...

But no... every game... my exp gets hosed.

figure out a way to torp without hitting them im sure you can do it, or maybe just
dont torp wall and use gradual to take them out a couple at a time

Hey, uh, for the record, Kuma can take 5.5", and Kuma-kai 6"...


Though it would be nice, to have an idiot detector for when people run in front of your
torps...unfortunately, that's impossible to code x)

Exactly...

same goes for big ships gunning... small ship latches on, gets inside, and 1 barrage
later.. is dead, and your exp is GONE.

Happened to me in my County and Edin all the time. (especially when my ship is off-screen
long-ranging a target)

Why penalize players for other players stupidity?

well there is always the option to tell your players via chat "LAUNCHING A TORP WALL",
seems to work for me ...altho noobs are retarded so that would probably make them try to
hit them

I AM the one in front.

They cross or, in the FF case, RACE PAST THE TORPS and turn into them.

GREAT IDEA.

I hated Torp whores in the past, but its a great way to power level my Brit CV crew.... if
I had known about the near-guarantee of 1k+ exp, you think I'd have gone Brit to start with?

poor you...

i think you just need to calculate in the uncertainty of players action....

just if you really aim for enemies and just not spam torps TK will be much less likely.
Try it.

If you dont see a possibilty to launch torps without TKing just use guns. you dont got
that gunspace for nothing.
