If you want to go close-up to the enemy put Heavy HE in the one slot and APC into
the other.


Use HE first, when you see it doing little or no damage switch to APC.

of course, when fully zoomed, it's hard to read the numbers. i'm gonna go suggest that
they leave ship names/account names/damage numbers the same size no matter what zoom,
during battle. :-)...reccommend it!

btw, i think dd's can always use heavy except against crewwhores, who require AP. i
think light HE's damage is just a waste of damage for relatively insignificant range,
compared to dd ship speeds.

it is quite simple: when you do crap damage with your HE-Shells switch to AP. They
will do more damage than (especially true when you fight brit armourwhores).
Beside of that AP has good Range.

if the distance is short what ammo is better he or ap???i'm still confuse

At DD stage it does not matter, use Heavy if you like close-up firefights or Light HE
when you like to fight over a distance.

However, once you reach CL stage you HAVE TO use Light HE ammo or you will not
have any range advantage and you will be food.
