you should attempt to kill with torps; it give good xp and creds; u already lost the
bonus/or get penalty for using topr AND gun, might as well kill something.

my toprs are almost ALWAYS meant to kill unless i help a torp wall. 5x launchers is nice
for one or two kills at once if very lucky. firing 10 torps at once is also good for
multiple enemies and makes eiser to hit big ships.

I liked the 5.9 SK's, but when I got the level I went 6.75"D's with 2 binds of heavy 1
bind of light HE. No space for torps

I use the 5.9"/55 C28, normal version. . .I think it has a somewhat tighter spread than
the 5.9" TBK, and it definitely has more range.

I could get the 6.75" now, but I won't. . .I already shoot far into the mist, in fact I
shoot so far into the blue when I pack light HE that I just wen't back to heavy HE.

I have two triple torp launchers. They weigh more than one quintuple launcher, but a) it
allows me to train up sailors in the slots and b) most people turn away if they see you
launch anyway, which is all I want them to do. The triple launchers give me the option of
either firing 6 torps to just kill something, or firing three to just distract them.

My absolutely best game with this setup was 54k damage. normal games vary between .5k and 18k.

Anyway, best setup for me is 4 2x 5.9 L, the lvl 23 ones. These have a nice range (since I
used it on kberg I'm using my z99 as a CL now and zoomin out and stuff. 0.o), and because
they're lvl 23, you can keep using them even when you have lvl 30 gunners (like me), and
they still pack a good punch, and their low lvl makes the spread not so bad. 3 binds of
ammo is as much as I need, but if it doesn't harm your speed much, put 4 to be safe. I use
LIGHT ammo for range; unless you're a rusher and die fast, lgiht is usualyl the way to go
so you can stay away, and jsut shoot everyone.

2 5x trops launchers; gradula fired, having 5 torps makes torping a little easier, and
vbery effevtive even as a small torp wall if you fire them simulateneuolsy or wuickly
gradually, to make a fan (angle torps in a small V instreald of them being parallel to
each other).


Heavy DD engine gives me about 46 knots normal, 53 overburn or seomtign liek that, and I
have about 1.0 belt and .5 bulge or so, or more.

AND THIS IS ALL with my heavy sailors with almost masxrecruits, so if you're not liek
that, you should get pretty god speed and a really nice ship.

Yes, dual 6.75s D's are the way to go. This way you have atleast compareable (sp)
firepower to deal with much larger cls and such. Torps are all on prefference. if ya
have the space and or room. use em. it will just make you that more of a formidable
force. i dont use torps because with my crew i only have enough room for my
gunners, bo, and 1 support styled sailor, but nonetheless its still enough to do 20-
30k+ attk in dd or cl games as well.

Use the 6.75" D's. You can fit a fairly good amount of ammo considering the power of the
guns, and you'll be doing 300-400 damage hits on DDs with 500-600 criticals.

Meh I use the 5.9's the FCS is way too short for the 6.75's and you can't dodge torps. But
thats just me.

I run 4 x 6.75D's, 3 binds light HE, with one 5 tube torpedo launcher w/15 torps.
Average 15-18k dmg per battle, with a best of 37.6k dmg with this setup.
