just wait it out man, SD gets better with the ship class...from myoko to kongo there
is a 100 sd difference between ships

soft defence is pierced if your actual health isn't matched at your blue bar while your
being hit and therefore without any other support, SD is useless then as restorers
only help reduce its actual dmg from atks(blue bar is your DP that you will start
repairing). even though restorers are the best support but usually, you will make ur
crew inferior as you will miss many other advantages from other varieties from other
sailors.

I knew someone who had his BO, 2 torpmen, and had repair/restore in both the support slots
and the gun slots. It seems to work well if youre a dedicated TW

Soft defense is no good without repairers. With soft defense, unlike armor which
completely nullifies the damage, soft defense just makes you take damage over
time. That means if you ahve good repairers you'll fix the damage. If you just have
lots of restorers and not enough repairers you'll just sink while seemingly in good
health. The damage over time stacks and when it reaches a certain point you just
explode, even though you're healthy. Odd, eh?

Some "crazy" idea. That's space wasted for potential torpers, pilots, repairers, etc.

partly, not exactly sure on specifics. But soft defense is also rasie wthi amout of
recruits on your sailors, which one of a few reason why people max out the recreuits on
their sailors; it partly makes up for armor.
