My roommate has the same problem. He has a good gaming computer, but NF gives him this error every time. I think its just an incompatibility with the NF software. You might try reinstalling but you might just be out of luck.

I just want to see the game:)

I get to the login screen I type in my username and password. ANd it just sits there for about 5 min then I get Connection time is up or something close.

Win XP SP2
512 Ram
128 Vid
Cable with a Netgear Router

I have turned off the firewall and have no virus program running. Now windows says I still have a firewall but wont let me into the windows firewall setting. I am in my router and was wondering if I need to open certain ports, create a DMZ or what to do. I downloaded 5 days ago and have never gotten past the login screen.
