That equals a total of 24.3 million.
As of November of last year, over 14 million UMD movies alone had been sold. UMD movies = PSP software.
As I've already said, people aren't restricted to using a PSP for it's software only. Once people realized that they could use their PSP for more then just playing games, they started using it for more then just playing games.
You think that was an accident?
Apparently it's worked in Sony's benifit, because as we already know, as of E3, the PSP had sold +- 1 million more units of hardware then the DS, and that's with the DS's 5-month head start.
Sony makes money on the PSP in other ways then just software. Add up the number of Memory Stick DUOs that have been sold, thru both Sony and those licensed to SanDisk, Kingston, etc.
