i have my z99, and i just discovered there is decent exp in convoy runs

what setup do i use to maximise my speed?

i assume i sell gun/torps, but i dont want to do that till i know how fast i will be able
to go...with a crew preferably - since i want to do it for the exp...

i hear ppl say i get 70/80 kts and all that, but since those same ppl say i should get
a faster speed when im carrying a payload, im not sure.

i have a DDII heavy engine, what speed should i get with just crew on board?

and will i generate experts with convoy missions? cause if i dont, i spose i can put
them on a diet...
