  • Mpro in CL/CA/BB games

Whats the standard strat generally? It seems like all the CLs follow the BBs up and down
and shoot at the rushers. Rushing into range only seems to work when others on your team
rush too, so if no one does, then the CL just get eventually wiped by the BBs and get nothing.

Also thoughts on using the 3x5.9 to HA AP instead of the 6.75sL?


edit: just found out the 3x5.9 cant hit above 40 degrees. Damn!

I said this in another topic too, but I'll say it again: I simply refuse to buy a Z99,
every one has it, so you're just another "z99 whore" to your opponents, it's a
friggin' DD, and sailing a DD when ur level 37 is like riding a bicicle with side wheels
when u're 18.

you can call me stupid, it's your right, and this is just my oppinion.

Man you are completely wrong. I have an Mpro and maybe i cant stand agains a BB
in a cl/ca/bb game, but i can give a ca battle if you know how to play, what i do is AA
whore and help my team, then when almost or all BBs are gone then the cas will
come near and if i take out the scouts i can start shotting the ca while it is blind, if
an scout sees me, then i run like hell behind other cas of my team, you migth say
that im a girl (im not being sexist, but it is the term for scaried man), but the KM
ships above cls usually hit and run, they outrange other ships and if they are being
hit they run out and start outranging again. thats how it works. so they dont bother
like FFs in DD/CL games. m pro does help in CL/CA/BB games, i have taken some cas
in those games myself.

here is what u do.....sell your M pro and get a Z99. Then sink everyone and
everything until u get to CAs then buy one of them and use Z99 for training. Cls in
CL/CA/BB are just food and pest equal to a FF in a DD/CL battle....all they do is
create another target. I have tryed both KM CLs and hated them both, all that
happened was me getting owned by DDs and then when i went into no DD battles
the CAs and BBs would own me. Where in my Z99 i have sunk CAs and CVs with no
problems. The only way to make the M pro better would be to get double 8'' on it
and then fight other cls.

My AA doesn't work that good, I have to keep shooting for like 30 seconds to finally
kill a scout, maybe it's because of my gun set-up, I have 5 of those 0.800 sec rld
guns with AAA shells, anything I'm doing wrong?

The best thing for the mpro to do is to AA whore.....

Seriously, with KM uber-AA, Mpro can take out like a dozen scouts in an game since it can
turn-twist and chase scouts while the big boys duke it out while being too busy to micro
their scouts. The only scouts you can't really take out easily are those that are placed
in between the dualing BBs, but the team can move out of their view range by retreating,
and usually the scout moves to screen the BB faster than the enemy BB gives chase, giving
you an opening to shoot down the scouts before BB gets in range. Even if you just chase
scouts away, its still an huge boost to your BB battleline.....

Sure it is no cred or exp if you just shoot scouts, but the opposition is SO screwed if
you can cut their scout coverage time by like 1/2..... If you can sneak an nelson or PoW
up an flank where the scout got roasted.....its GG right there.....
