What I did was stick with Brook till level 47, then at 47 got a Cleve so Iw as used to AA
and LONG reloads of guns.

Don't skip Cleve if you are planning on using AA on your CA/BB. Cleve has excellent T-
slot layout for AA guns.

If you use 8" duals, you get nice range and get used to longer reload, and if you use
5"/38 A's, you have a nasty surprise for DD's that get too close.

In short, the Cleve is a nice primer for the Baltimore, kind of a "pocket CA". Don't
discount it automatically.

Have any of you other Brook users ever tried using the dual 6"/47 L for HA or AA. You
could hold plenty of ammo for both, the only problem being that they are massivly heavy.
I was just wondering if this would be worth the trade off.

Don't bother with the 8inch, your not going to get much damage before the shells run out.
Use 6inch trip or 5/54 with ap shells.

depends on what games you are going to play, and the lvl of your gunners


for what i do (dd/cl and the ocanisal op convoy) use the Trip 6" Ls

id use normal ammo....it give a little more range with the same devastating damage


for cl/ca, the dual 8" Ds, but you will only get 2 binds of ammo...so watch your shots

plz dont ever use the dual 8s on brook. its not ment for that. brook is ONLY ment for trip
6. with those guns, u can do anything. jus dont play cl/ca. only play dd/cl and all games.
the brook is a dd owner and cl annoyer...not a cl owner and ca annoyer. when you get cleve
you can mount the dual 8 N. which is OK. but not great. since its way over priced (the
cleve) its not really worth ur time. the brook is jus so much better then the cleve. then
ull get balt. which has trip 8. which is really fun and powerfull. but be ready for really
long 8 second reloads....
