  • cant connect.

well as the title says i cant connect though it does auto patch. is it because i have a router if so do i need to port forward it ? and which port do i need to port forward ?

Yep gotta forward TCP ports 8001 and 16671.

How about this:

do you use WindowsXP with ServicePack2?

If you do, try exlucding NF from the DataExecutionPrevention:

A) Go to the Control Panel

B) Double-click on the SYSTEM icon.

C) Click on the ADVANCED tab.

D) Click on the SETTINGS button in the PERFORMANCE section.

E) Click on the DATA EXECUTION PREVENTION tab.

F) Check the checkbox in front of "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select"

G) Click ADD

H) Navigate to your NF directory and add the NavyFIELD.exe

Hi

I have the same problem, and I don큧 think that is something to do whit your firewall, couse i tryed to do it my self...!!

Can I ask you where you are from??

i got no way to forward ports in my firewall but even WITHOUT firewall running i cant connect either... also got problems connecting.. =/
