As I have mentioned before, this patch will go in a day early. We actually wanted
this patch on Monday, but had we had to go through the final testing of the new
battle mode today. anyways. below are the details.

Servers will be down on the night of April 24th, from 11PM through 1AM Pacific
Daylight Time. (April 24th 06:00:00 -> April 24th 08:00:00 GMT/UTC time)

Patch 1.171:

1. The Night Battle mode has been added.
A. Participation limit and time limit
1). Ship limit: BB/CV
2). Personnel limit: Minimum 8 to Maximum 18 (10 BB/ 8 CV)
3). Level limit: unlimited
4). Escorts: No escorts allowed in Night Battle.
5). Time limit: 15 minutes.

B. Flare added:
1). Only used for Night Battle.
2). Flares can be equipped on Scouts only. They are equipped like torpedoes or
bombs. Each ship can hold up to 10 flares.
3). How to use flares:
- In the highest possible altitude, press "." key to drop the flare.
- Each scout can hold one flare. So the scout will have to return to ship in order to
get another flare.

2. Fixed crash error when pressing F12 and clicking "exit" during battle.

3. In ship tree panel, the previously and currently "selected" ships for BO are
marked, to eliminate confusion.

Okey, some of you may have some questions about the night battle mode. I have
prepared a simple Night Battle FAQ with our moderators.

Night Battle FAQ:

Q: How long does the flare last?
A: The flare will last for 1 minute.

Q: Can we use Fire Cracker shells instead of flares?
A: I actually tried this during test. and the answer is No. Sorry about that.

Q: Is this mode Auto Balance and EXP sharing like GBII?
A: Yes, it has shared EXP and its auto bal.

Q: What is the visibility range?
A: It will be less than day time. So the game play will really be determined by flare
and scout placement. And less in range.

Q: WHY TNF, WHY NOT PBB NERF AND BB1234 BOOST THIS WEEK?!!!
A: I know, I know fellas, I am also praying to our NF gods(Yuno+devs) for that. Lets
give them some time, but please keep up the riot.
