The servers were down today (oct 21) for an update. They are taken down for maintenance regularly, so try later. If this persists, reinstall NF and re-patch. You could also try pinging NF's servers and login server, though I am not sure if you will be able to find their IP, as it is likely that they won't give it out to prevent ping spamming. Ask a mod.
