ok i finally got brooklyn, need some advice tho.i like the cl vs dd rooms.ive got 30K
attack a few times and get good xp.id like to go in CL CA BB rooms but from what i
can see on my range with x3 6" guns im not going to fair well.i wont outrange
anyone.Has anyone had luck in rooms with the big ships using x3 6" or do ya go
with x2 8".It seems like outside of torping a room full of DDs this ship will get wasted
by the bigger ships...Or maybe I just need to get used to this ship

so going with mostly deck would be a good thing for most rooms.i can fit 1.8 or so if i
take bulk off and bring belt to .2

Emphasis on "charge" the enemy (CL/CA/BB games). It's not enough to just "get into range"
you need to get your face right into theirs as close as possible. Pay special attention
to your shell hits -- if you find that the "green" damage numbers are generally higher
than the "white" damage numbers, then your target has a soft belt and your getting as
close to it as possible will increase the number of belt hits.

Obviously I don't recommend charging a large cluster of ships -- I'm advocating waiting
for the tasty straggler and punishing them for their mistake in falling out of the pack.
You will not win a battle at range or even medium range vs. a BB or CA. Your advantage is
when you're in their face or you have no advantage at all.

DOn't use torps PERIOD.

And dont put aa guns in brooks t slots, there simply isn't enough room for decent guns.

Instead, use Trip 6" L with all deck and .2 belt for CL/CA

for CL/DD or AW games, go 6" Trip L with 1" Deck then rest belt

Never put 8" D on Brook,s impyl isn't enough room to be decent with it.

In CL/CA(BB) games, stay with 6" trips and stay back,t henf lank around the enemy, charge
a big ship and blast away for great exp and money.

If you play againts DDS Take ''6 triples with heavy he i was used to 3heavy 2light he
and if you play Cl/ca then dual ''8 light he and stay back wait for opportunity to strike.
My armor things are like this:
1,8deck
2,3belt
2bulge head (lol)
Setup for brook i cant put more but if you play DD/CL then put only belt and bulge if
cl/ca Deck mostly and much belt
but i use more belt coz im kamikaze guy :S
AND GET RID OF TORPS IN CL/CA ONLY USE THEM DD/CL!

The only time torps are relativly acceptable is in Op-con games. Otherwise use your guns
becasue youre a gun ship. Torps only take away from armor and the number of times you can
shoot your guns.

CL/CA/BB=big cash. You get a min of at least 800-1000 credit if you lose and if you win
you can get 2000 and up. The key in using the triple 6 on the CA/BB is to sneak up while
they are busy with the other bbs.
