Some of these setups take a small amount of practice and some of these are just
obscure. Think outside of the box.

Emden - Level 28
Best Engine: CL Engine IV (Heavy)
Best FCS: CL Aiming FCS II
Best R slot weapons:
-lvl 42 X2 5"/61 KM 40 A
Best T slot Weapon:
Lv 25 x2 5.9"/48 TBK SK C/36-T D (Load only AA shells)

I put the x2 5.9"s on only for the added amount of range in AA you get out of the
5.9's. Takes a bit of practice and should only be used in less pressure situations,
seeing as how switching from one gun to the other with a wave comming at you can
miss a few key planes. The other reason for it to is, it packs a decent punch. So once
you've become accostumed to seeing planes and have a some what ok idea of what
planes are harder to shoot down(like those damn gold planes), you can switch and
pummel them.

Another set up idea I've worked with and has done me well is with the z31.

R slots
Bow
Lv 25 x2 5.9"/48 TBK SK C/36-T L
Stern
Lv 22 x1 5.9"/48 TBK SK C/36s L

I generally arm the guns with lights. Keep in mind you'll only be able to pack 2 binds
of any amunition in the Bow(front) guns. with the stern(back) 3 guns, you can pack
up to 4 binds. I split the 4 binds as 3 lights and 1 AA.(magic angle for the 5.9"'s is 28)

With the z99, I had a funky set up that did a decent bit of damage, nothing
spectacular. but, if you wanted to keep people guessing, here's a strange setup for
you.

FCS
Auto(in order to rapidly switch between R then T fast enough and keep accurate,
auto is essential for this setup. Unless you have sat and practiced this set up for
hours and hours and hours and have gotten it down pat.)
R's
Lv 23 x2 5.9"/48 TBK SK C/36-T L
T's
Lv 22 x1 5.9"/48 TBK SK C/36s L

Switch this over to gradual fire and you've got a roving machine gun on your hands.

For the admiral hipper, If I'm not going GB with it or have gotten sick of being
rushed. I usually put x3 5.9's on it. You'd think that having smaller guns on a bigger
ship would do less damage, but if you think about it. why are you not aloud to put
8" barrels on a BB? You get mad crits out of a x3 5.9" on a hipper and still have
competitive range.

For those who have enjoyed the snipping power as well as the reatreating defense
of the z31 and have reached level 53, I suggest this setup for the Kburg.

FCS Aiming
R slot(bow)
Lv 53 x2 11"/52 SK C/28-s HE Lights(Keep in mind the FCS will struggle to give the
shell its' max capacity, but none the less a fun setup)
R slot(stern)
Lv 31 x3 5.9"/60 SK C/25 D HE Normals
T slot
there is multiple configurations you can have with this, AA is a joke on the KBurg, so
Torps if anything at all is the only one you should go for. there are two slots on
either side of the ship. Depending on how you "wish" to play. Either with max
capacity or flexability, you should either way only have 2 Lv 26 x 2 Torpedo21" G7e
T2 Launcher at any given time,
Max capacity; This concept of set up requires you to pack both of your torp luanchers
on either the port(left) or starbird(right) side of the ship.
Flexibility; This concept of setup requires you to pack one of your torp luanchers on
either side of your ship.

I learnt this by accident and it applies to Mpro's, and hippers. Not sure about eugens
or PS line ships. But, if you add a CV engine to those two ships, you can get an
extrodenary boost in speed. with the Mpro, you gain 10 knots in over heat, and with
the hipper, you loose 2 knots in normal heat, and gain 10 in overheat. seriously, try
it.

.2 belt will reduce torpedo damage by 50% after your bulge is depleted. There's a thread
in T&T about it I believe. Anyway it's been verified a few times.

In my personal opinion, add as much bulge as you can until you lose a knt of speed.
Some people believe in 0.1" deck, 0.1" belt or whatever but it has never been
proven. Sounds like witchcraft to me >.>
