This is to be used only to suggest changes.

There have been many, many, omg MANY Sub suggestion threads and topics, so here is the idea.

You guys all pick some of the concepts, ideas buffs nerfs etc from all the other threads
and add them here.

While you are welcome to discuss why a change would or would not work, keep it to a
logical and clear discussion.

No - "you are only a BB whinner"
No - "You are bias sub driver" in fact any insults will have their post hidden

Make your point - Make it clearly, make it once - anything else will be thermonuked as
will all other sub threads from here on in really.

Tell SDE what you want to see from Subs and sub play with BB play etc for the future

I'll keep checking in and see what you guys have come up with, there is some brilliant
ideas I have read thus far and look forward to them all in one thread and see where it
progresses, hopefully to a positive conclusion where, at least most of the community will
be happy with the changes (if any)

I've recently come back to NF after about a 4 month break. I got into my SS2 and went
into the GB. I saw there flagship, a Ticonderaga witht he usual DD guns on it, but as I
got close I ran out of air. He opened fire and he was hitting 700's-1000's with DD's 5"
dual guns. He had a high accuracy and reload rate and I was dead before I realised
how much damage he was doing. And I don't want to think how much damage 16"
would do.
My Suggestion. Put damage back at what it was.

personelly similer stuff was suggested before and disscued so I'm not gona waste
my time here, insted of reading 2 pages of this topic...read all 33 pages then post -.-.

Hmm. I am loving how noone is backing up what they say with evidence. Make a video of
this. Go to area 19 and show us that 2 torps can take out 255 bulge (i play SS, Totally a
joke).

US/UK SS4- Less dud rate. There the most nuetral of the 5 T4 SS's. So there dud rate
should be as well.
IJN SS4- Make there rld 1-2 seconds shorter. I see no problem with them for ASW play. Get
the enemy to crit dive and you can keep them there.
MN SS4- Most balanced of them all. dud rate should be a little higher though. I don't see
them missing a lot at all.
* Max SD for any SS should be 450-500 Due to them being tiny and they should definitly be
one shottable. Not to mention someone with an Amagi crew shouldn't beable to make an IJN
SS crew and have 900SD on the SS2.

Theres my feed on this.

*Edit by me, SS1-2 are only SS's who need air, level 70+ planesmans should retake all your
air in about 30 seconds anyway. Me being on the surface for 10 seconds and i have 1/3 my air.
Giving SS's more air will only cause more people to complain about them being under
forever. Isn't that what brought on this SS patch anyway...

Subs are a complex problem that I belive need solution that works well for all
players. I have spent alot of time thinking about this and figure this would make it
fair for everyone.

1: SS 1-2's need some help. Increase of Air time is major important to these ships.
Since the last SS patch Air reload time was increased for people with high lvl crews
but again the low lvl SS's got the shaft.

2: SS in general should have around 2-3 times the air time they have now.

3: SS's should be slower max speed above water 35 unerwater 30 the double air
time will make up for this lack of speed.

4: splash area dmg froma torp should be lowerd. You can completly miss the ship
and still score massive amount of dmg.

5: lower the dmg of torps equal to slightly higher then a CV's

6: torp Dmg and splash has been lowerd so only fair that Torps will no longer dud.
(a SS today had a dud ratio for this torps over 50%) not cool.

7: It was started that more dmg was done to subs on the surface yet they can still
run around without getting hurt. (the high lvl ones at least) SS's health should be
comparible to a FF on surface. (they have 2-3x the air they shouldn't need to be on
surface)

8: Anti sub weaopns are overpowerd. Should be lowerd dmg. HH's are almost
impossible to dodge at 10 or less.

9: Still confused why KM gets a pom pom that can do dmg. Make it for AA or give UK
pom pom ship dmg ability as well. It was suppost to be used for AA it shouldn't
have Ship dmg ability.

10: Allow for faster refilling of air so the subs can be underwater rather then being
on the surface as much.

11: Sonarman should work if you are overheating or not.

12: If the torp dmg is not decreased I would like to see a lower Reaload time. If the
dmg is lowerd I don't see a problem as it is.

13: Subs exp should be higher not as high as it was originaly but they should get a
buff.

14: critical depth should be reworked so that you lose sight. You would not be
seeing the ship at that depth. That being said should be lower dmg taken at that
depth. To much dmg at the moment at critical dive depth.

In general want to see them become a silent hunter who has to use skill rather then
spamming the space bar.

Don't just want to see the high lvl SS's get everything want to have the SS1-2's to
be of some use as well.

Make a SUB only Battle room it'll be alot of fun for lvl 33 -60 so noob subs will train in
that kind of room

subs have incorperated team play (no more rushing out, asw, and keep the higher
lvl crews eyes open)

1) buff exp slightly

other than that let them stay as they are

just 1 thing the us sub drivers are totally screwed over. we have no perks to our
sub. km has proxys ijn has a nuke tube. and uk wiht a good crew can hive like 900
sd and be an underwater tank

so here are my suggestions
1. JUST DECREASE OUR DUD RATE ITS INSANE FOR US SUBS
2.if us subs cant have more tubes up front let us carry more torpedoes
3.aslo seriously a rear gun what are we gonna do with that give us like teh ijn ss2
or 3 not sure witch one give us 2 guns one in front one in back so we can pop up
and say hi to the cvs.

these arent huge changes in not saying increase power or anything just even it up
for the us sub players im tired of gettin underplayed so let us have our fun in the
catch.
