Ive played jaguar, le fantasque, ladroit, mogador, pluton, emile bertin, le galissoniere,
dixmude, bearn, jean d arc, suffren, algerie, courbet, lyon, paris, strasbourg, richelieu
Jaguar is a sweet DD, but the true leap comes when you get the le fantasque (which is
fantstic(ue) ) you will be able to beat most of the DDs the same level as you. L adroit is
sweet too cause its extremely small size, and its not that much worse than the fantasque,
i actually liked it more. Mogador can do anything the fantasque can but much better.
Pluton is just a crap ship, i played it just cause of the extra exp. Emile bertin is much
better than any of the MN CLs you get at the same level, cause it can use the triple
suffren guns, cant remember calibre. le galissoniere isnt much of a step up from emile.
Dixmude, my loved dixmude. Its the king of blitz with its aircraft space and uber bombers,
just make sure to shoot down that annoying local CV first :P. Again, anything the uber
Dixmude can do, Bearn can do even better. With this amount of DBs / TBs, you should eat
pretty much any BB4 / BB3 as snacks.
Jean D Arc I didnt like. Suffren is where it all gets cool, youll kill most CLs if you use
it smart. Algerie is the king of blitz, just like the york. By now you should be able to
kill alot of ships from the distance, without getting much or any damage. Courbet is where
it all starts to get cool for the people that chosen the BB line. With its 12 shells that
do around 2000 damage each, youll be able to kick the arse of any other BB that joins the
blitz, just be sure to fight at a distance and dont let yourself get humped, your tons of
shells make for the crappy spread so thats why its better to stay at a distance. I had so
much fun with it, I wish i didnt reach level 60 that fast. Ok, now the lyon. When youll
get the lyon, youll be pretty dissapointed because of the crappy spread and not seeing
where your shells land. But, dont let it ruin your opinion about the Lyon. When your
gunners get to around 10 levels above the ships requirement (which in this case is 62)
your spread will clear out, youll be able to see where most of your shells land and youll
be able to pose a serious threat to anything which comes in range. Here comes the Paris. I
dont know much about it cause I liked lyon much more than it so I didnt spent much time
playing it. Its the same with Strasbourg also. When youll get it youll also be
dissapointed by the crappy spread, and by the time the spread clears out youll get to
richelieu, so you better use the lyon / paris instead. When you get the richelieu, the
spread shouldnt be that bad and it should be around the blockshotting size sometimes. The
AA makes it an extremely versatile ship, but the firepower is worse than a H39.
Personally, I use the Lyon instead of the rish-a-lieu. But well, as its normal, the
rishelieu is much better than the lyon with at-level crews.
So what ships do I really like with at level crew? Hmmm, though decision, but here it
comes: L adroit, Le Fantasque, Mogador, Emile Bertin, Dixmude and Bearn, Suffren, Courbet,
Lyon and the Richelieu.
