if you wish for just getting some damage in the game, go for lion, packed it up with
decks, at the starting point of using this ship you cant care much about your speed
though, so all you need is money to buy deck armor, 1.5" belt to reduce critical damage
and some bulge too.
for vanguard, it requires high lvl crew to play perfectly, of course high level engineers
are the main concern of this ship, you need at least 5 to reach speed cap cause when your
crew gets higher lvl, its heavier. High level gunners are 2nd taking into account because
if you want to play vanguard perfectly, your graduals have to be perfect also. dont look
down on your 15" guns, they hurts when you take off their SDs in a salvo and starts
gradualling. The 15" guns are slightly more range than L1.
