Skills man... Skills is all you need and crews with a high enough level and more green on
their bar than red.

I would prefer O2 line as I got New EBB (August daily event redeem) + older version
EBB, Nassau (Invitation redeem) while set up KM nation crews.

And I've played them both.

AH/PE v Dland/PPro: AH/PE is fun and can take any non prem CA except for Dland/PPro. The
11" will have a better spread then the 8" with equal gunners and 11" range 8". PPro has
the best secondary of any CA. I cant remember the speed differance off the top of my head
but with an at level crew I know AH/PE is faster. Dland cannot fit a full high level crew
(BB4/5ish) because of displacement issues.

PPro2 v Scharn: Its a tossup with Scharn getting 1 more barrel on its main battery but
PPro2 is smaller. They both use the same guns.

Gneis v Opro: Opro is better. Its skinnier and has better AA arcs. Gneisenau can only
shoot AA on the sides while Opro has the capability to shoot 360 degrees. They also use
the same guns.

Bis v O2: They are about even really but O2 gets an extra support slot giving it the edge.
With the same crew O2 has 2 knots more speed, better AA, and more firepower. Bismark gets
a better spread and at high levels nearly blocks. Bismark slightly ranges the O2 but the
difference is very small. Using slingshot O2 can eliminate that advantage easily.

My thoughts:


Dland is a beast if you have high crew. With my BB3/4 crew on it, I was a menace to SD broken enemy BB's.
It's as big as a destroyer, reasonably fast, BB1 range, and good firepower. Pairing up with a friendly BB to
provide AA and finish-off capability makes you very valuable. I teamed with Eradicator, and killed usually two
BB a round. Best I've done is an Alsace that ran. I made it half way across to get him; a good example of
how a small ship can avoid easily.

Adm. Hipper is also excellent. While a bit bigger and slower, it has just a bit less range but worse firepower
and AA. Playing it the same way is harder but possible.

Ppro1 plays similar to Dland, but more focus on AA.

I had the Bissy and switched to the O2. It's more offensive, with another support, faster, and can more easily
take damage.

The two lines really only differ at the CA and BB3 stages. Other than that, the
Deutschland line generally benefits from slightly better AA compared to the Hipper line at
a given tier, and that's about it. Either line is a safe choice, but if you're going to
make your decision based on what is "better," the BB3 are really the only things that
warrant any serious consideration.

Bismarck's a monster in BB rooms. It has a little more range than O2, the spread and
reload is fantastic, and it is well-suited to the slingshot maneuvers that are KM's trademark.

O2, on the other hand, is better suited to GB2 than Bismarck. It's slightly less fat, and
the extra barrel gives it a little extra punch. Also, the 3-3---3 layout is definitely
more flexible and powerful on the rush than 2-2---2-2.

I've taken both lines as well. I prefer the OII over the Bismarck, even with an at-level
crew. The spread I noticed is more random then Bismarck, but when you land shells,
they hurt. OII has a definite speed advantage over the Bism, and is easier to wiggle
around which I do second nature anyways. With the lower level ships, as people
have
said before, only really take the D-land line if you either, have decent main gunners
(70+), or good AA gunners to get experts on your crew. Imo, I'd take the Eugen if I
want to blitz it till Sharnhorst. I took the D-land line first, and I don't regret it at all.
Just
a warning though, I found the O2 a pain to level to the H39 at level 86-87 for some
reason. Then I just 2 gunned SWed and got 150k attack regularly.

D-land beats Hipper
PI beats Eugen with AA battery
Sharn, IMO, beats PII
Gnei is equal with OI
OII beats Bismarck in my opinion.


*edit: I only bought the AD to break the grind from the 86-89 levels. It can be a fun
ship at times, and just a POS with a low level crew due to speed, SD, and OH time.

I still have them both in my harbor and I love them both.

Bismarck ist better in linebattles, the gun setup ist just perfect for bow/stern gun action.
In my point of view, the gunsetup on O-ProII is the biggest downside, too much space
between them, giving you worse spread compared to bismarck when driving vertical

none of my sailers are over lv 96....and i love them all...ad's for when bord or sucking
at km xD

Deautschland require 120 level sailor to use

O project required 100 level and up engs to use
