B43L1	I think the R gun space should be increased on the New York BB to let it hold triple 12's and dual 14's because the New York was planned to have 15 twelve inch guns but the were replaced by the dual 14's since the 12 inchers were way behind schedule. Come on...the New York kinda sux right now...at least make it SLIGHTLY better please. Thank you.

Verfallen	try a dreadnough or a mikasa. Then check the NY compared. I think you'll stop complaining about it.

UmbralRaptor	Amusingly, wikiality suggests the reverse -- the preceding Wyoming class was to use 14" guns, but they weren't ready, so 12" ones were used instead. And since the first US battleship with triple guns was the Nevada a few years later...

LordKelvin	Cite your source please. The New York class was never intended to hold 12" triples. And in the event that it ever did, it would be using those crappy 12" guns with the 15 degree angle that have less range than a DD. And in any case, the New York is a fine ship as it is. It's a BB1.5, don't expect anything more from it than that.
