  • Recommended armor for OP2

I'm just getting use to it yet, switched from the AD recently.

Is there any build setup recommended? I know KM will never find a good balance
between armor and speed factor, but running wild withour any armor as i've seen
sugestions seems to be kinda suicidal.

Maybe for this ship is the right setup, I dont know, thats why I ask to the more
experienced players.

3 engys (1 E/100Vts) and 2 regulars.
2 reps (1 E/100Vts, the otherone 100 vets)
1 rest (sold actually, just draging him around for lvlup)
rookie.

I've tryed so far different settings but the speed reduction is noticeable, considering
the shorter range, it's almost a crippled cow in a slaughterhouse.

Any advice is welcome :)

O2 can go 44 knots with AA using a mid level crew. Speed is your armor. I would advise you
to get atleast 1 more engineer though.

I've tried several armor setups for the O2 and I found none satisfactory. Even if you
"ghost" your crew, the O2 cannot take any significant amount of armor. I also tried
ghosting the crew and removing the aft turret and putting as much deck as it could
take. The result was, imo, a slow, (now) underpowered, and still armor-weak BB3

Suggestion: as much bulge as you can add without losing a knot, or perhaps losing
JUST one knot. Enjoy the farming powers of the O2.

O2 is a raider ship, us it as such. Race, sling-shoot a couple of salvoes and fall back.
Also, you could use another engie in there, he'll help with OH time first and then with
raw speed.
