  • CV final attack

hey guys, i didn't know if this has been suggested before but if it is, i'm sorry didnt
mean to steal topic.

CV final attack, what is it? What i mean here is that you still can sunk the enemy ship while
your ship is severely damaged or already sunk.

So, if CV users is severely damaged and its health is very very low and a salvo of FF
could kill it, he can still send planes (default) but if the CV dies, the plane vanish too.

What i'm talking now is if the CV sunk, the owner can send their planes before sunk
(default), they should able to control their 'last chance' (planes) to kill enemy planes
(with fighters) or to sunk or damage enemy ship (with bombers), but if the owner leave the
battle, the plane vanish too (addition). But of course the CV owner cannot send anymore
planes if the CV has gone, and the planes that has lost it's CV cannot land anywhere and
will crash into sea.

Well, that's all my suggestion, if that implemented, that will cool and help many CV users :)

P.S. sorry for my bad english -_-

^ if that gets implemented then it would be pointless for a final order to be to
bombers. If theyre on the attack run you still have to tell them when to drop, which
they dont do on their own with auto or manual. Only fighters would have any use
then.

I was thinking about this, I thought it was very silly that planes disappear when a
carrier dies.

I think, though, that the player should lose all control over the airplanes once they sink,
but they *should* be able to give a final order. If I fail to do that, then the planes will
just fly circles/dogfight until they run out of fuel.

Think of it this way - Do your shells disappear when you die? Will that salvo of 20' shells
hurtling towards you vanish if you hit your target first?

Why should bombers that received a last order not continue on and carry it out? Why
should fighters in the middle of a dogfight vanish in midair?

controlloling what planes you should still should have in the are sounds realistic to
me. The only problem. Can it be implemented? Once you're sunk you are out of
game for now. That includes planes.

basically you want the planes to stay after the cv has been sunk. that has been suggested already.

@Briztama (and there's no such thing as remote controlled plane in WW2 anyway) -_-

KM radio guided bombs.

US also had the same Idea but took the wrong approach. They had an epic failure where they
converted bombers into missiles. None of the bombers hit their target or did significant
damage.

It's interesting how much technology WW2 had but didn't at the same time. I think that
personally makes it the best war out of everything. You have a mix of wood and metal
planes with a few jets. You have bombers and the Germans developed guided missiles. You
have battleships and it's just simply indescribably awesome compared to modern/futuristic
warfare.
