About the firing arcs: I do admit that you have to broadside the planes, but then you get
a nice lob of flying death.

Put 14 HH on it along with decent sonar operator and destroy anything that gets into HH
range.....

as far as AA whore kita goes, I do not suggest it.

Simply the gun arc on it arent really good. To be efficient, you need to go broadside on
the incoming planes. For this Myoko and mogami with triple 6.1 A are better platforms.

Also the T slots for torps are not that big, so you'll have ammo issue on the kita.

Kita is a CL and it can be outfitted for many purposes. Its t-slots make it either a
perfect torp whore, it can be a nice AA battery, or a mine layer. I wouldn't use it for
close gun combats though.

I switch around between M1 Mod 1 or 3 and M3 Mod1. All that matters imo is the torpers
torp base, lvl and amount of experts/vets since you want a fast reload. They start getting
decent in the 60ies IIRC.

I tend towards the type 93 m3 mod-1, though I could see the m1 mod-1 or m1 mod-3 also
working in some situations.
