Well this finally worked for me with a Win7 system. Latest patch was immediate
crash in XP laptop

I was having some problems with crashing in game. DEP changes = immediate
crash.

I looked at thread again and added the HSlogMgr to changes. Also, I noticed that I
had put some Compatibility commands on the Navyfield shortcut at some point in
past. I took off run in Win98 mode but kept the disable themes.

Then played 10 games in a row with no crashes.

hi. after 2 tickets in support contact, i try to resolve here my problems....
I install the 1307 client and set Start for ADministrator, no visual effect and
compatibility mode and than i launch the game. all ok the laungher but when i click Play
Game i receive the information of crash's error and return on my desktop.
I installed last client 1309 with hackshield and i disabilited the compatibility mode but
i still have the same error....i have Windows 7 64 bit here

I used another PC with windows 7 32 bit and the 1307 start normal for the first time..than
i installed the new patch and i receive the same error of crash of the other pc....WHY??!!


i follofw the instrunction of the staff that send me on contact support but i've already
the same problem :(

I use the setting you guys suggest using and I'm still having problems. Now I went back and re
down loaded it also. That worked for 12 hours then back to the same issues. So I started
reloading just the patch. That seemed to work for a couple hours ,but then once agian back to
the same issues. I think it's more than just "Owner" opperator problems. Please continue
working on this. And thanks for the help.

NF crashes some seconds after the battle starts. EVERY BATTLE!
The game suddenly shuts down.
The whole evening I tried everything to get the game working. I'm using Vista Home Basic
but there is nothing I can do anymore except waiting for the next patch, which hopefully
will fix this issue. So no NF anymore for the next time :(

@ above. Look to your desktop. See NF Icon..right click on nf icon. at bottom of window
that populates over the nf icon and at your mouse position, select
properties.....at top of next window that populates you will see "compatibility mode"
uncheck it...same window at bottom you will see "run as administrator" check that box.
Apply changes and restart NF as usual. Hackshield patch window will show in top left
corner with a progress bar. Takes only a few seconds..then launches as usual.

So how the CHRIST do you do all that??????????? I just play games. Im not a computer
wiz....... I cant believe I have to go through this shit to play a damn game......

Vista Business. Dell Vostro420. Right Clicked NF Ikon on desktop..properties. unchecked
compatibility mode (area went grey) Looked to bottom and was run as admin was already
checked. Applied changes.. restarted NF as usual..was in game in two min or less..no
lagg/no crash.

No change for me.. Im not sure what could be on your pc's that would prevent HS for
allowing NF to run.

I have vista and i have no problem. Starting the game is even a bit faster than
before.
The system still crashes sometimes but definitely not more than before!

Yeah ... every other game i crash because i dont have the compatibility modes
anymore that was the only thing that made it so i didnt crash. So now i am crashing
again so what am i supposed to do now live through the stupid crashes? thats just
a joke im getting really irritated now. Please find a fix soon SDE / TNF
