  • Zoom Bug Identified - Please confrim

Greetings,


I have repliacted the zoom bug on 5 consecutive tries.... heres how...

Reboot PC... that puts us all on the same page...

Run the game.....

At the start of the first battle... DO NOT PRESS F11

Try to zoom in/out ----- nothing will happen....

Press F11 and try to zoom in/out ------ Zoom bug should occur

close the game.. log back in.. and any combination of commands will always result in
zoom bug.. unless you reboot pc...

after you reboot pc.. attempt again... if same thign happens.. you replcated this bug..

to avoid the bug.. never try to zoom in/out in 1st battle until after you have pressed
F11....

i tried your solution and it does not work, i only had a zoom bug 1 time before this
latest patch, now i cant get rid of it, what i did notice is when i start NF at the Eula
screen it normally lags, like my mouse moves slow, and it has always been that way,
now i can tell when i will have the zoom glitch because at the Eula screen it moves
normal, no lag or anything.
i have win xp pro sp3 no compatability mode or anything

SO what your saying Charles is you cant even use your Scroll wheel on your mouse
in harbor or to set up a room? Cause its considered a HACK? Wow.... this is bull

Sharles. TBH the scroll got blocked radomly before HS got introduced.
And the signs of "scroll block" were identicall (a green "glow" on top of the screen).

Star- good find- yes confirm - this is a way to beat the scroll block from hs-

it seems if you activate the scroll (3d) ability of the game - before scrollng it will
bypass the scroll lock - and allow you to zoom

However- if you try to scroll before 3d - you will be locked as a scrolling mouse hack.

this does not mean this is the only thing thats wrong -Ive had other reports- guys take SS
as you can- see the forum post concerning from GMS for what you can do to help us get
everything fixed.

For those who are still concerned- I assure you it is safe. GO enjoy the game. :)

Recreated it.
Twice.

The 3D function WILL bug out if you use the scroll button on your mouse before activating
3D mode.
After its bugged the only way to restore the 3D mode functionality is to restart the game.

It doesnt matter for me, how many times i try and reboot. Or wait however long
inbattle to try and zoom out. I always get the zoom bug now. My guess is the
Hackshield makes the game minimize, launches then brings NF back up. Thus
inducing the zoom bug.

The hackshield is a definate torpedo midships to my NF career..... I had no problems
with AVG or anything like that. Just the effing zoom bug.. I cant play in zoomed in all
the way esp in a BB.

I would give it a try but my anti-virus won't even let me launch the updater any longer...
