I don't think anyone is quite there yet, but, I was wondering if the SN SS's are worth
getting into. On a secondary type of cool, I have to say it would be incredible to be
in Kilo class SS (being SS6). From what I have read, the SS4 is the highest SS so far.
I have also read that SS5 and SS6 are intended as are balancing issues with lv 100
and lv 110 guns. Anyways, any opinions people? Especially from Sub drivers.

ive noticed that although it says the speed is 30/40knots
when im doing 30knots crusing in game, the dial doesnt turn red yet the OH metre
decreases

anyone else noticed this?

imo

ss1 sucks (km ss1 superior due to mine deployment)
ss2 good (great for its class and good for defence)
ss3 sucks (1 knot faster than ss2 lol 32knots) i can pull 39 knots out of a kmss3)*
ss4 good (because you can speed cap out at 40 knts)

the guide lines are still a little bit offset so still makes it a bit difficult to fire on target

*ss3 should be closer to 36 knots

That was my assumption, but we don't answer support tickets by blaming things on
lag. =P

@storm: Theyre all the same... That player was probably lagging.

I've had a player comment to me that the SN subs have a longer crit dive delay than other
nations' subs. Anyone have any observations on this?

4 more levels to go and I am ready to dive. The only thing I noticed with sub torps in the
shipyard, they are helluva fast but trading it for a shorter range. Ive done my sub
driving in my KM sub, now want to try this sub line this time.

yea agree with Deral about the SS4 ... been playing it for 2 weeks now, defintaly
more of a challenge with the lower SD and it being more fragile, but this makes it
more fun

SS1 its ok
SS2 is pretty good for class 2 sub.
SS3 is a pain to big and slow esp turningradius. Do not engage other subs in this
dinosaur.

SS4 did큡t get there yet but I heard pretty positive so far. Much like US as author
above writes.

I have played my SN SS4 for 2 days now and here is my take on it.

Speed - Capped at 30/40 with EBVE Engy's +100 vets at level.
Torp Damage - Lowest of all 6 nations.
Torp Speed - Fast OMG Fast, 59 kts on fast setting.
Durability - Low, SD low, at level with 2 EBVE Reps +100 vets and have 564 SD and
cant take much shell damage.
Torp load out - 4 tube fore/2 tube aft, nothing crazy with good amount of loadout
ability.

IMO - SN SS4 plays like a US SS4. If all the nation subs had this durablity it would
make sub driving harder (not a bad thing to be honest). I look forward trying to run
a sub that can be damaged, it has made this a challenge.

SS1 is usable. Just as good and bad as any other nation's. My gripe: not as many duds as
in IJN SS but more than in KM. Plus the CCCP Navy's torp range is simply ABYSMAL!

Sprite for SS1 is good looking, though. Best of all SS1s.
