Right, simple answer please

i've not played since the introduction of Hackshield because of potential risks/lots of
lag/alt tab etc

what is the state of it now?

i really would like to come back to the game, do the problems related to HS still exist?

i have no knowledge on computers

HS is fine (at the moment) the skill level has nose dived though.

Not that I have noticed, but SDE (in its infinite wisdom) decided to implement their own
problems such as game crashing during game start up and a greater frequency of crashing
during game.
