well i thinck you should have a equal amount of db an torps to win a battle
trops are mostly use to weaken the bb and db are use to weaken the bb or any ship
but in a high angle

i rec 3 fp 2 DB a medic (or TB)

5 4fp 2DB 2TB or third DB doesnt matter

DB is good at first because IJN gets their 2nd tier of bombs at only lv 60, but when
you get to a higher level your TBs become immune to AAW at lv 85 and thats when
most IJN CVs switch to their TBs. Before that TBs are worse than DBs. I suggest for
6 pilots on support slots and 2 on AA slot. 3 fighters 2 db 1 tb on support and 2 tbs
on the AA slots.

DB is best for Jap IMHO...for brit its TB

But some people are better with TB than DB...it depends on the player.
