umm...-=NO=- horrable suggestion i might add, CVs have all rights to retreat if they
are on the loseing side, they lose too many experts and vets allready, but to lose
more to BBs being ********? negative, to lose all EXp and everything to retreat
negative..you fail

No, this is not a good idea. Why on earth are people recommending this.... Retreating is a
valid tactic as many people have already stated and sometimes you just have to retreat. I
remember in a Blitz I was in once, me and some other guy were the last ships, He was a DD
with 150 DP and a 3rd of the map away from me (a CA with 800DP) and we couldn't move near
so he retreated (so did I but he was faster). I see no reason why he shouldn't get EXP for
that rather than waiting 6-8 mins for the battle to end. There's also the problem with
horribly stacked games and those times when it's your 10th loss in a row and your the last
person left, you've lost 10 vets already today and you just can't be stuffed anymore.
Those times - I'd understand if anyone would like to retreat, and also when they have no
Ammo/Torps/Aircraft and don't wanna wait till the battle ends and become fodder if the
team loses.

No just no.

Oh noes, you weren't good enough to sink that guy before he retreated so he
better be punished for it!


if you dislike them so much, host rooms with no retreat maps.

Retreating is a valid tactic, otherwise the military/navy wouldn't use em to save their
resources and people.

It is common sense when you are outnumbered to?
A) Run
B) Ensure enemy does not take the ship
C) Take as many with you as you can.

A) is preferable.

Uh no.

Sometimes im the last CV alive and the BBs are on the otherside of the map, ill
retreat.

If im on the stacked side, ill retreat.

Sometimes i may get crippled near border.

Sometimes i may be micromaning so much with my fighters i lose track of my ship.

Things happen, and it is a Valid Military tactic. There has been many cases where a
orginaized retreat had saved them and able to push back.
