  • make mercenaries in HA bannable

well basically its just not right.

so we should make mercenaries in HA bannable.

edit: like this so much i want this to be the main aspect thanks sait

imple solution to this would be to make the penalty for leaving and re signing with
other fleets increase .. also to charge a monetary fee to the person who dose it.

As an example if you leave your fleet and join a new fleet it costs you the first time
in 2 months 200K and 7 days then if you do it again the amount and time penalty
increases say to 2 weeks and 600K make it so there is a 2 or three month reset
meaning that you have to stay in a fleet or fleet less for this period before it costs
you nothing again to sign.

This way the Merc's will cost more and more and over time be harder to find as their
fees will become to much for the opposing fleets to afford. the costs of a HA will
increase having to pay for guys to not only join the fleet but to declare ...

this will also slow serial fleet jumping on a whim people will think about it more and
do it less.

So I guess for a fleet like Playmates to go from nothing to a major HA fleet in the time
it took was just for giggles then? Gee what does the world come to when a Fleet works
hard to get what they got and then accused of monopolizing the game?

make it simple
first time: 3 day ban + 400k (money taken this way will go to the defending fleet)
2con time: 7+ days ban + 800k
3rd time: 20+ days ban + 1m

also agreed with this idea lol

After page 10, I stopped reading, and decided just to post in the initial post,

No, I don't recomend banning, but I agree something should be done.

About banning, how do you decide if a player moves to a new fleet, doesn't like it
and goes to another fleet or returns to his original fleet, is he a Merc or just looking
for a fun fleet? Or a young player who is just looking for a fleet and trying them?

A fee to join a fleet/sqdr would not be good for new players, too much.
Or impose a fee for a player who has ANY Bridge Operator (or sailor) over a specific
amount (even in HQ).

10-14 day wait I think is the best solution, at least to miss 2 weekends of HA.

I don't like the full idea, it's better see the whole problem before make a decision

if they are acting like mercenaries maybe is because those fleets dont want be 1 big
fleet (god knows their own reasons) and want stop the power of one big fleet (like
playmates(something like that I have been reading on other forums from some fleets even on
game chat/ rooms)) also the playmate have 2 harbours under their control and ther want a
third one? even I dont like the monopoly idea

situation like this about mercenaries clans/guilds/players happend on other games like
Lineage (remember the fight between asians players) and others MMORPG for the same or
similar proble a big guild or clan taking over the 50% of places in a server leaving the
smaller clans/guild with very limited optios (and one of them is play like mercenaries)

I just saw this post... I`m in FG, and guess what... I recommended....

This could prove that we have just a few members from others fleets...

And would like to put a situation here, if you have a friend in game that ask you to
join your fleet just to play HA, would you say no for him ?

Well, he is your friend in game, why not let him play... and say more, we have some
friends that stay much more time in FG tham in theirs original fleet (about 2 or 3).

The point to always the same fleets is cuz the mother language, everybody knows
communications in HA is most important, if people can`t understanding wich other
how can they play...?? Because of this ours friends is mostly spanish speakears..

We have the 5 squads and the main fleet almost full... how could we recruit a
massive players from others fleets??? I`m squad master, and i have only 3 spots...
and the other dont have more tham that...

You are calling mercs, what we call friends... so take your conclusion, and flame as
you want, the most important is what I think to myself, we have lots of fun in all
HAs, and we like to share this fun with friends.. if you are not happy, is your
problem..

But as I sad, I recommended this idea.... I`m the only sorry for the friends that
would lose the fun....

i didnt read all the pages on this *made it to 5 or 6* its a decent idea but what
about the players who have a fleet there happy with, and are just changing squads
or a squadleader drops a squad, things of that sort?

Winterc I think I get what ur saying and I don't have the issue of playing ha. It's what I lvl for. But it's the
playing of the samepeople pritty much every week that annoys me.

If thts not the point u were on ignor this post
