  • Promotions for Rookie Pilots? (scouts)

I think we should do promotions for Rookie pilots (scouts)

25 (Rookie Scout Pilot)
55 (Skilled Scout Pilot) +4 aircraft and +1 Fighter
80 (Recon Pilot) +3 aircraft and +1 fighter


(Skilled scout thanks to Baron432 from missouri server)
(Recon Pilot thanks to Nymet260 from Arizona Server)

each one gets new aircraft like they do now.

IE: 25 gets average plane like right now.
: 55 gets first attack scout (not as good as fighter) (higher scouting and AA
dodging)
: 80 gets higher scout that has higher attack rating and higher scouting ability (as
well as dodging AA)


I think this would be a great asset to scouts, seing how level 80+ people still using
level 25 scouts.

Please throw some reccs and hopefully we can get something changed for the
better.

Good idea! recommended!

But recs aren't gonna make it happen lovelander...look at the hanger bay
suggestion heh...some things are just out of the realm of possibility for TNF's
capabilities(no disrespect intended). But this idea may not be impossible :) I hope
not anyway as it's a goodun(goodone for those not from the Southern US hehe).
It would be nice if a lvl 50 scout would do what he's told instead of chasing off after
another plane like a teenage boy chasing a cheeleader on crack!

I would just call the pilot "Rookie pilot" only up to lvl 55 (as it is now & in your
suggestion), but then making him Skilled Scout and Ace Scout (since they are not
just "pilots", but able scouts, with special abilities differing them from
fighters/bombers). In reality such ace scouts were of super-high value, being able to
find, evaluate and report targets of utmost importance, frequently making the
difference between victory and defeat.

Therefore I would not call them just "pilots", these skilled specialist deserve proud
name of Scout!

Thanks, atleast the promotions would make it be better. That lowly pilot is
like "everyones good but me, I'm still a rookie and I am more experianced than that
gunner over there".
