Flagship Fleet War
Date:-
26th June 12 Midday EDT, 4pm GMT, 5pm London, 9am PDT
Signups Close:
15th June
Ship Limits:-
25 Ships per team 10 Capital Ship Limit per team Max 7 BB뭩/Max 5 CV뭩
Capital Ship = BB or CV Support Ship = FF/DD/CL/CA/SS
Flagship Details
One Battleship must be designated flagship; Referee's must be told before the match who and what ship is the flagship. The Flagship can be the only ship hull of its type on the team; E.g. If a H39 is picked as a flagship, you can뭪 use any other H39 on your team. At the start of the battle, the referee뭩 will announce who the flagship is for each team.
Flagship Sinking Event
When it is sunk, there is a 5 minute chance to counter attack. If the counter attack is successful, the game continues until a team is destroyed or the overall time limit is reached. If the counter attack isn뭪 successful, then the winner is the fleet with the remaining flagship.
Ships with or of the following nature will not be allowed to start, and will be banned once the room is closed: No Tier 5 or above ships. No Premium CV뭩. No Tier 4 Carriers No Soviet Nation BB/CA뭩 No EBB뭩 No Scouts on CV뭩 No MN/SN Bombers No MN PCA
The following ships classes are limited: Max 1 x SS3 and 2 x SS2 OR 4 x SS2 Max 2 x TW CL. Max 4 x Support Ships from one Nation. (Capital ships ARE not included in this limit) Max 8 x CA Class Ship (Be it CA or PCA). Flagship can be the only ship of its type (e.g, if your flagship is a H39, you can only run 1 x H39)
Ships breaching this rule after the room closure will be banned from the room with no substitution allowed.
Usage of the following will result in punishment during the match: No T5 scouts (5 point penalty for the first offence, 10 point penalty for further offence or non return after 1 minute, increasing to 20 points for a second minute, and doubling for each further minute.) No Smoke (15 point penalty for the first offence, 25 points for a further offence) No Mines (10 Point Punishment per usage)
Repeated offences by the same player can result in forced retreating, match restart or even team disqualification in severe situations, at the discretion of the Fleet League Council.
If any of these are used to sink/save a flag ship, the punishment will be more severe and will result in a disqualification. It is up to teams to make sure ships do not have these equipped and not to use them.
It is up to the fleet leaders to analyse the opponents setup for rule breakages in the Ready room. Referee뭩 will be checking, however fleet leaders are expected to check also. A whole teams eyes makes everyone's lives alot easier.
Players are also encouraged to report rule breakages in Team chat to the referee's. Screenshot's or Video recordings will be taken.
Time Limit
25 minutes. If a flagship is sunk after 20 minutes have elapsed, the time limit is extended to allow the full 5 minutes counter attack. If a counter attack is successful in this time, then the remainder of the counter attack time will be played, and the winner shall be determined by a points system if ships remain on both teams.
Points System:- The points system works out; When you lose a ship, you lose points.
BB/CV = 10 points Support Ship = 4 points
Each fleet starts with 160 points. If a fleet is reduced to negative points by a penalty, team disqualification occurs.
If a fleet reaches 0 points, with the enemy at 20 points or more, and ships are still on both sides, that fleet loses (This is only possible if penalty points occur)
Extra Time
If a fleet is not 20 or more points ahead of the opposition, extra time will occur of 5 minutes IF a flagship has not been sunk. First team to sink the enemy flagship wins. After extra time, the winner is the fleet with the most points remaining. The maximum time a match will last will be 30 minutes.
