  • Area 7 Rooms Require 8 Players to Launch

Make it so.

No more of this "Me vs. Whomever" crap.

It's not worth any experience anyway - there are plenty other places to go without
wasting a room in an area where each space is in demand.

It would also prevent bugged rooms from launching when the host bails like a noob
and everybody floods out in a rush (at least when it gets down below 8 people).

I don't know; just a thought.

Again, we have areas 14 and 19 for precisely this purpose. Hell, we even have an entire
server for this kind of thing if you don't want to burn through credits to try some new
things.

All the changes to combat dead rooms and this simple flaw remains. It's still too easy to
virtually shut down the server with a good group of dedicated, pissed-off players (yes,
you know what I mean, and I mention it because I recently witnessed such a discussion).

And yesterday it was an Iowa hosting "Me vs. 2 Ships" . . . it ended up Iowa vs. Neutral DD.

Why should you be allowed to take up a slot in one of the two experience areas when there
are currently two other non-experience areas designed specifically for testing and fleet
battling/AB'ing purposes?

Yes I know it took two years (the birthday party a few days back) to have areas 7 and 12
completely and perpetually stuffed. But the area 14 and 19 fix is incomplete while some
FF (or hell, even a BB3) can waste a slot in 7 or 12 (for however long it does not matter)
for no reward.

If I understand this right you want everyone else to move to a different area.......so you
don't have to?

Or you just don't want to see it?

just a matter of changing map grid, taking two spaces that are not really used and
making a test/fun area with 0 exp? something like that? i wouldn't mind being able
to test guns firing at dummy ships that don't move FOR NO EXP to test guns and
such. or too complicated? either way i will recommend

This fleet practice $#!+ has its own two areas now - TAKE IT TO 14 OR 19!

If you want to 1v1, get out of the main battle area. You won't be getting exp anyway, so
go to the clan area for it.
