There are MANY other games that use HackShield (Maplestory, Combat Arms, War Rock to name a few). Also, a different anti-cheat software called Punkbuster is much more intrusive than Hackshield. In the case of Punkbuster (which is HackShield x2), many more games such as the Battlefield series, Call of Duty series, Need for Speed, F.E.A.R., Medal of Honor and many more use it. Hell, even the US Army uses Punkbuster in its full glory for America's Army 2 and 3. Hackshield is a legitimate anti-cheat program that has been around for a while and has been trusted by literally HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of players across the gaming world. It will not steal your personal info, nor release it. Here's a list of known HS problems and fixes:

Lionel2	I dusted off an old machine so I can separate my banking from stupid HS. Now, I'm back to trying to log on. First, it keeps telling me that windows can find ENFUNS exe file. I reloaded the manual loader as you explained in your post. That didn't work. I made sure that I'm running NF exe and ENFUNS as administrators. That didn't work either. I shut off my Kap antivirus and that didn't work. I completely wiped out everything, downloaded them all again, including the patch, the went back and set up everything as administrator. That didn't work, but now, after I get that can't find the ENFUNS exe file, I get the 0xFA4C error too. Do you have any suggestions?

weylin	I'm still having trouble with the zoom bug, I did everything instructed. It alt tabs for too long and screws up the game so I cant see name tags properly.

Savage79	Maybe I'm not making myself clear here.... Double click the launcher with everything in admin mode from the launcher to the HSudpater, Click Play game.... NF starts, then Minimizes.. (inducing 3d bug.) HS does its thing, HS minimizes to system tray. NF is then Maximized to full screen again. Login in. Go to test to only have the zoom bug appear. Drop numerous F bombsat the game. Click Quit. Go to support Sleep acct. Send in support ticket. Wash hands on NF and slowly walk away.. THE END!

SkSSoldier	directly after you see the HackShield logo in the middle of the screen (the white one) it should auto maximize to the first loading wallpaper. If not, ensure that HSUpate has administrator privileges and that desktop composition and visual themes are disabled, Also, put HSUpdater on the DEP list. These are my settings and I have no issues.

Savage79	tried both 8 and 8A same shiz. Minimizing NF when it first goes to load causes Zoom bug. HS makes NF minimize when it launches hence causeing zoom bug. There needs to be a pause before NF starts so HS can do its thing, then start NF without having to minimize.

SkSSoldier	hammershot, I've added the fix for error code:OxFA4C If you constantly get the zoom bug, see solution 8 and 8a

Savage79	FIX THE ZOOM BUG!!!!!! Cant you guys make so NF doesnt minimize when HS launches? its gonna run in the background reguardless......

SaddleRocker	I had the EULA crash I just had to take off compatability mode, and run as an admin visual themes and desktop composition are also disabled Im on Win7-64bit But now i get the zoom bug due to HS making the game tab out during launch.
