"TOTALLY WRONG. Anyone that says york is king of blitz doesn't know how to play county.
County can HA and cause 900 dmg per hit for a broad side AND stay out of range.

I've sunk NUMERIOUS york's in my time with county and every game I was in county was king.
York even with block shotting still didn't do that great. "

It doesn't matter if you can HA your shells, what matters is whether those shots hit. 8"
duals on County just isn't as close to as being accurate as 8" triples on york.

The only ships york was on even terms with or was afraid of were blocking Baltimores,
blocking New Orleans, and Moltkes. The only way a County can win against York is if it was
equipped with triple 6" and it snuck up on the York, otherwise, in three shots, the County
would already be badly crippled.

I used to play with both County and York before BBs and CVs were allowed into blitz games.
The number of wins and losses I had from each ship clearly indicates York as the better of
the two CAs. I had about 250 wins and 50 losses on York, while County hardly yielded more
wins than losses.

The only ships I found challenging were ones that did the same thing as York, blocking
from far away, and the winner usually ends up being whoever aimed better or whoever
spotted the other and began shooting first.

Right now I'm experimenting with CLs but it looks like Emerald works well. (Once I get the
credits for the higher guns)

First I hated it, then I fell in love with it.

My best UK ship is County, well my highest ship ^^. i use alot of armor like 13, and
only 2 duals 8"L in front.I dont really need the other 2 torrets, since my no
permanent gunners 10/10 are not that really good, because i got 2 gunners 12/11
lvl 62 BVE for 3m for both, so i have to wait for my bo to reach BBS lvl to enter GB, so
i believe is not worth it to use all guns in the ship, when i can be a close range Ca
and do alot of dmg.People actually are getting kind of angry, because it takes like
from 6 to 8 ships to sink me with the remain of 4k health. the bad thing is that i have
no protectiong from torpedoes and almost vulnerable to air bombing, but i have a
good speed, so if i use my ship properly i can take almost all cas, and do some
serious damage to BB1s, some people call me Blitz Mini Lion 1 XD.( because of 2
guns and armor like crazy.

But I see many people gave the answer, so let me do it too :)
My best UK ship is Lion2 for a close range (range that my guns can shoot any
opponent), and Malta Project for long distance (distance that my bombers can torp
any opponent).
