Hi, i dont know if this idea is alredy posted but here they go: 1) about ASW
TNF should change the actual HH, when you shoot this weapon the damage should be underwater damage, not tiny DC spam, the real advantage of HH in the WW2 was that you could cover more area using them and you dont lose sonnar because HH only explote at impact!
Also the DC (i loved use them at low lvl, even when i was newcomer) they should be a loot less efective, i mean, reduce their damage area, make them lose the sonar ability when used and at least 10 close charges to kill a SS (make them smaller and lighter to carry at least 100)
facts that support my post: . An attacking vessel would usually detect a submerged contact using its sonar (or in British parlance, ASDIC). However, to drop its depth charges it had to pass over the contact to drop them over the stern. As such, sonar contact would be lost immediately prior to attack, thus rendering the hunter blind at the crucial moment. in the case of U-427 fame was achieved of a different sort. From its first voyage, on 20 June 1944, until the end of the war, U-427 never destroyed any of its targets. It fired torpedoes at two vessels, HMCS Haida and HMCS Iroquois on 29 April 1945, missing both, but it was for its ability to survive under unusual circumstances that U-427 became known. 2) About SS games
I notice that SS always finish playing in GB2, anywere else (this should be think to all ships) but what about games with good rewards and diferent? well we recive ideas with the arms wide open but i was thinking in 2 ideas:
SS shipyard defence: Well the name is clear, SS was usefull for close water defence and also attacks like minning the enemy shipyard, and this was a comon aspect of the WW2 but this could be a SS only battle in a very restrictive map. How should it work? well at least one SS should reach and stay 2 min on the oposite site of the map (red zone) or the dead of the defending SS, it should work like a GB2 room you enter and you are ready, also must have a nice reward sistem more atractive for SS
BB hunt: another common scenareo in the WW2, if dont belive me ask the Bismark and the tirpitz but i think this one is less probable to be implemented... it would be like a race against time, planes and mines, and it would include 6 BB, 3 CV and the rest of the ships but only 20 in total, the objetive is escape from the CV and ss attack, but the bad stuff is without shoot an cannonade, just speed, Db dodge and AAW/ASW of course that this can be only done in one way 3 CV team beta left side of a long map with a small distance from the BB, CA, CL, DD (team alfa) iin the middle, and 2 part of the team beta or ss near the end... the jog is at least stop 3 BBs and the job of the smaller ships is protect the bigger brothers with AAW/ASW
