This is to be used only to suggest changes.

There have been many, many, omg MANY Sub suggestion threads and topics, so here is the idea.

You guys all pick some of the concepts, ideas buffs nerfs etc from all the other threads
and add them here.

While you are welcome to discuss why a change would or would not work, keep it to a
logical and clear discussion.

No - "you are only a BB whinner"
No - "You are bias sub driver" in fact any insults will have their post hidden

Make your point - Make it clearly, make it once - anything else will be thermonuked as
will all other sub threads from here on in really.

Tell SDE what you want to see from Subs and sub play with BB play etc for the future

I'll keep checking in and see what you guys have come up with, there is some brilliant
ideas I have read thus far and look forward to them all in one thread and see where it
progresses, hopefully to a positive conclusion where, at least most of the community will
be happy with the changes (if any)

ASW need a nerf in

HH needs 50% Dmage decreasement.
Speed cap LIMITED TO 45 knots.
DC weigh increament upto 40% more.
ASW sonarman Range depending in : Level/Vets/Base/Experts/boost.

Yes, ASW are more OPed than Subs. Due that ASW hasnt been nerfed atm. they were but next
patch they were buffed. before nerfing subs, NERF asw BIG TIME!!!

BUFF subs for the LOL.

this thread reminds me, the frequent war between UK AND KM BUFF/NERF.

3 - no I think ima just keep watching NF play it self on my screen, after all why would
I play for you O.o

subs are STILL OPed and they need further nerfs...or rather yet....a full re-balance,
simple as that.

Megadone, I own a fourgoldbar sub. Yes, I do get crippled beyond diving in one salvo from BB4/5. That's at around
5000/18000 DP.

Now, take my advice, and go play.

1 - get glasses
2 - take your owne advice and acctually play and type what happens, a 3-4 gold bar
T4 sub IS NOT GONA be crippled with 1 salvo...eaven if that salvo is from a darn BB5

so yeah learn your angle and try to diverse a 2 gold bar sub vs 4 gold bar sub.
they eather need a DP nerf, or make them recive eaven more dmg than now...

Megadone, before you make suggestions/troll on suggestions, you should probably PLAY THE GAME...

I have NEVER seen you ingame (on NY)...


Anyways, people, the KM pom-pom is not OP. It is special for the KM sub just like the 3 support slots. It is a fun
gun that generates exp, like all sub guns, it is just more effective/annoying to noobs.

Subs do not need DP nerf, when one surfaces, if I don't one-shot it in my H39, then it's crippled beyond diving...for
those who complain, learn your angles....

Fix this game. I know it will never be reflection of real life, and its realism, but at
least try to use your brain.

The SS4 KM, should be a REMOD! In reality these subs had less torps, less fuel, less
everything.. because they carried Flak Guns (wich were crap), therefore they stopped to
use such REMODEL.

The SS3 is ok, but the SS4 should be a remodel, not a "new - old" SS4.

I have read to limit the damage of SS4 torps. Seriously, not only they have the lowest
ammount of torp launchers, limited support slots.. and now even lower damage? Dont like
the KM Sub, create one, I hate lots of stuff in this game, because I find them stupid/not
real/etc., but I do not complain everywhere I can, I try to accept these things.

Do not remove dud torps, this would mean that 100% of torps would actually hit, IJN has
like 6, or 8 front launchers..

Do not "balance" subs, and by this I mean, do not do anything with them, wich would be
agains the realism, so dont add more/less front, or more/less rear torp slots.

Every sub has its strong, and weak poinst. Its up to the player how he/she use them.

Totally delete possibility for subs to have any kind of armour! Bulge is possible, but
armour..? Sub armour couldnt even withstand simpliest Destroyer attack, not to mention
powerfull, and huge Battle Ships, like it happens in this game.

reading a thread before posting usually helps....

1 - it's not a sub issue, it's rather a TORP's issue...every ship using torps had there
exp reduced, cuz torp's dmg now is SHARED
2 - it was allready suggested in this thread to revert it back to former exp...but not
just for subs...but Kita's/CV's as well.

Hi, i dont know if this idea is alredy posted but here they go:
1) about ASW

TNF should change the actual HH, when you shoot this weapon the damage should
be underwater damage, not tiny DC spam, the real advantage of HH in the WW2 was
that you could cover more area using them and you dont lose sonnar because HH
only explote at impact!

Also the DC (i loved use them at low lvl, even when i was newcomer) they should be
a loot less efective, i mean, reduce their damage area, make them lose the sonar
ability when used and at least 10 close charges to kill a SS (make them smaller and
lighter to carry at least 100)

facts that support my post: . An attacking vessel would usually detect a submerged
contact using its sonar (or in British parlance, ASDIC). However, to drop its depth
charges it had to pass over the contact to drop them over the stern. As such, sonar
contact would be lost immediately prior to attack, thus rendering the hunter blind at
the crucial moment. A skillful submarine commander therefore had an opportunity to
take successful evasive action. (Wikipedia, Search: Deep charge)

in the case of U-427 fame was achieved of a different sort.
From its first voyage, on 20 June 1944, until the end of the war, U-427 never

2) About SS games

I notice that SS always finish playing in GB2, anywere else (this should be think to all
ships) but what about games with good rewards and diferent? well we recive ideas
with the arms wide open but i was thinking in 2 ideas:

SS shipyard defence: Well the name is clear, SS was usefull for close water defence
and also attacks like minning the enemy shipyard, and this was a comon aspect of
the WW2 but this could be a SS only battle in a very restrictive map. How should it
work? well at least one SS should reach and stay 2 min on the oposite site of the
map (red zone) or the dead of the defending SS, it should work like a GB2 room you
enter and you are ready, also must have a nice reward sistem more atractive for SS

BB hunt: another common scenareo in the WW2, if dont belive me ask the Bismark
and the tirpitz but i think this one is less probable to be implemented... it would be
like a race against time, planes and mines, and it would include 6 BB, 3 CV and the
rest of the ships but only 20 in total, the objetive is escape from the CV and ss
attack, but the bad stuff is without shoot an cannonade, just speed, Db dodge and
AAW/ASW of course that this can be only done in one way 3 CV team beta left side of
a long map with a small distance from the BB, CA, CL, DD (team alfa) iin the middle,
and 2 part of the team beta or ss near the end... the jog is at least stop 3 BBs and
the job of the smaller ships is protect the bigger brothers with AAW/ASW

I dont know if what am i asking is imposible but come o maeby it will help to make
this game more even more fun... tanks TNF its already a great job

this game is in no way real, ie nuff this and nuff that. all ships have been either
boosted or nuff from there real design.
I think the subs are fine.
ss1 skip it , waste of time.
ss2 stay by the bb's to attack ss3 and 4 's

SS3 center hunter and return to bb lines
ss4 seek and destroy

Premuim SS. get real skip this whole idea.
humberto must be on there pay roll. do i get kickbacks also if i make a thead tring to
sell more junk?
fix the junk you sell now . premuim medics that are usless cost 2.50 175 vets cost
another 20 bucks . expert packs another 6 bucks,discontinued free. thanks NF
