When you overheat you have to wait your overheat time to start overheating again
for the full time.

I notice myself holding the F key forever sometimes in the heat of battle.

So suggestion:

Once over heat is over kill the F key so even though its being depressed it doesnt
register in game.

Other suggestion:

Include a light or fill bar (4 colors red, oragne, yellow, green) saying that your
overheat is back at full potential.

No colors - empty
Red - 25% of overheat is back - you'll overheat 25% of your overheat time
Orange - 50% of overheat is back - you'll overheat 50% of your overheat time
Yellow - 75% of overheat is back - you'll overheat 75% of your overheat time
Green - 100% of overheat is back - you'll overheat 100% of your overheat time

EDIT**

Edit****

Or even just a green light similar to that of landing forces just showing that your
overheat is back at 100%.

It would also be useful to show clearly when OH is on and when it is off. For example
turning the entire speed gauge slightly red when OH is working.

I've had my fair share of occasions when the gauge is exactly between the red an white
parts, and to my surprise OH kept getting spent.

The other thing is that no matter how many lights and indicators you get, you should learn
to manage your OH by yourself. DO NOT KEEP F PRESSED ALL THE TIME!!!!

In fact you should take the time to manually lower your speed bellow OH, in order to
conserve it for when you really need it.

if subs can be implemented into the game I'm sure this has a much more simple code than subs.
