as the message says should i lvl up a cv crew so i can use my UK ecv victorious (thanks to event)

if so, how many fighter and bomber pilots should i get, or should i buy some elite fighter and bomber pilots?

and how should i class the bombers ? dive or torpedo

 

i am currently working on my USN cv crew, and i have a UK bb2 queen elizabeth

I Believe UK does not have any CV bonus(Fighter or bomber) so I think you could best go with a balanced setup(EG: 6FT rest bomber or 50/50)

As for DB or TB it is up to your personal preferences. if you are still quite new to CVs i would advice taking DB over TB since they are slightly more noob-friendly in my opinion.

Get at least 4-5 fighters and the rest torpedo bombers. The UK DB are the worst. almost no UK CV use dive bombers. But if you get bored you can always train one dive bomber to have fun with I guess.

allright thanks for the tips i think i will go for 5 fighters to be sure and the rest torp bombers i do have a lvl 86 chief seaman so i think he will be of good use lolz

Put is this way. 

UK carrier aircraft are not up to par against similar tiered planes.

UK Fighters: High durability, sucky engagement. 

UK Torpedo Planes: Best in the business, but slow.   

UK Dive Bombers: Worst damage. 

I can tell you that because I have the crew to back it up.

I use Malta (CV-5) with 6 FPs/2 TBs. It used to be 2 DBs until I found that I just plinked every ship I came across. Bloody frustrating.

The torpedo planes perform a dual purpose when I use them to sink submarines that have run out of air and are on the surface. I use manual aim on the torpedoes so I don't miss. Much.

I don't use the seaman, just 2 AA gunners for any planes that my fighters can't shoot down. Or an escort packing pompoms as an adjunct to a kill.
