After playing a certain other multiplayer game about WWII tanks, I have been wondering why NF doesn't have this option.
Press Ctrl+Click on the minimap to signal something on the minimap of your allies, along a sound alert.

This certainly would help in coordinating attacks or signaling where help is needed. Have seen it work before, I don't think it would be abused by spamming.

lol i can see it now beep beep beep or ding ding ding or nurmp nurmp (sounds) Noobs would abuse this too much.
that or a bb would be poed at a cv and be spamming it on a area by thier bb... so ya...

Notice how in the same exact tank game mentioned, it is SPAMMED more than it is actually used? I get sick enough of it in that game, don't put it in NF.

As I said, I have seen this work on other game, with a similar environment to NF. There's no abuse of the feature in that game. Of course, there would be a cooldown if you use it too much, just like what happens with macros or chat-spamming.

Meh i'd think it'ed be better if there was a 1 per 30sec thing, but still, that more then jsut one commander saying "go here"! so it will still be useless!

it is already bad enough with some DD crying "SOS" in chat cuz he rushed and got crippled in No Man's Land.

maybe leave this exclusively for capital ships.

best if the blips on the minimap coordinated with "enemy ship in sight". dont need anymore anooying sounds though.

mostly useful in HA/fleet battles but not GB, and definitely not blitz

It IS abused in that game. People will click 10 different spots on the map in a second and all I see is ATTENTION TO A3 ATTENTION TO A2 ATTENTION TO B3. It. Is. ANNOYING. Besides, who in this game listens to tactics?
