RLD Gunners,

You can level AA gunners same like IJN DP gunners for reaching reload cap. US dedicated AA guns have problems with miserable "golden angles" than normal US AA guns (except 6" DP AA guns, i think). But weight of  dedicated AA guns and reload isnt bad.

i should add that it's sorta pointless to class gunners rld-rld-rld.  Might as well make them more useful in mid-levels to use main BB guns as well

Best AA gunner for US is an elite repair soft support.

Considering the topic title names AA gunners and normal gunners I think the question is wether to use AA classed gunners for the AA guns or normal classed gunners with normal guns loaded with AA ammo.

I cannot personally answer though, I dont know any specifics on USN AA guns.

well i can safely say because gunners classed into aa dont get good reload and thats what you need to spam aa towards planes personaly im using 2 huge reload gunners with almost full experts and 120 vets each with the lvl 18 3''/70 cal mark 23 D

they have 1.08 reload speed which you will need to fast spam alot of AA hehe im liking this one its doesnt take much space and it holds enough ammo for alot of planes
