110 guns are bad now . Level 100 has L2 range and your sovietdky can go with 39 knts max speed cap , in other case 110 guns range is crap , and speed drops to 37 knts . My advice is play with the 100s they are better

The (my) origial plan was to have the lv 100 guns have between L2 and H44 range, at 39kn, a little less damage than the L2, and 45 degrees. A much higher displacement, and thus less durable, would offset these advantages.

The same plan made the lv 110 guns have between L2 and Monty Damage (closer to monty due to quads), 37kn, and SY range.

Unfortunately that didn't happen as planned. 

So... what was the result? Is using them totally pointless or what? Cos if theyre like lower range and damage with longer reload then obviously theyre screwed. So, how do they actually perform?

The SN 110 guns were redesigned to be pretty much useless.

Stick to the lvl 100 guns.
