  • MN TBers?

Are MN TBers overpowered? I know MN bombers are supposed to be powerful but this is ridiculous. I got sunk by 4 torps from MN TBers. Saw the same thing happen to a H44 in the same game and apparently an H39 got sunk by ONE torp (although I didnt see this one). Just wondering whether this is normal?

Yes,they're overpowered,but 1 torp sinking a H39? It HAD to have been crippled,not sure what you was in,but 0.4/0.5 belt goes a long way...

I was in iowa with over 650 SD (bad, I know) and 0.4 belt and about 160 bulge. And I WASNT crippled.... Sucks a bit...

He probably ran out of bulge and without realizing it went into neg SD then was torped...

Yes you can go into negative SD and still appear to have green DP...

If you don't know what neg SD is, try searching through the tips and tactics archive.

Nope still had full bulge. I always check before I get torped. And I hadnt been shot or hit in that game so I doubt I was in negative SD....

I guess the TBers were helluva stacked on top of each other and you werent hit by 4 but 14.
Earlier this day game a MN CV5 sunk a unscratched Kaiser in one go.
The kaiser in question was hit by 22 TBs and most likely forgot about things like Bulge and Belt.

Myabe but I highly doubt that 14 bombers would be able to stay stacked on top of each other turning round, diving, coming back up, returning to the ship and all the torps wont have been able to stack. There will have been slight differences in the trails and explosions and I didnt see any of these.
