How shall I break it to you, gently...

Once gunners have hit the caps (first acc, then reload), a 9/9 gunner is as good as yours.

A better gunner than yours would have better repair.

You also might want to consider burning experts, not for gaining more vets, but in order to have rookies that you can take off to save weight. Take off as many as you can until you are at the reload cap.

why are people still overvetting and max bve-ing gunners?

Because they don't know better, and their e-peen is a factor to take into consideration...

I and many other players with elite gunners, are better. ( if you like to look it that way )
So dream on you might have 2 of the worst gunners when you look to the abillity
And i don't know how long you play this game, but most of the players have way over 200 vets on their elite gunners.

Looks like a level or two missed on the classing.  My KM gunners have a bit higher reload (+11) than these.

There are 11/12's, 12/12's, and Elites that will have better stats than these as long as the vets are comparable.  The fact of the matter is that there are probably a couple . . . hundred . . . pairs of KM gunners that are more useful in World At War due to the uncapped reload.

So I don't have to think that anybody has better KM gunners because I know many do.  My second set will be superior to yours in a few weeks.

Upon closer inspection I'm curious...

Their base growth is identical, which is unusual for non elites.

They also have perfect experts, which could have been farmed with an AA boat I guess, but still.

Were they a pair of those unclassed 90s?

I don't like their uneven max sailors though.
