Why would you WANT to use a level 60 and under sub in a room full of fast ships who can pretty much all see you and are likely festooned with Hedgehogs?

i like this idea blitz has less lag than gb2 so its a lot faster and people will always use hh prem or not subs need as much freedom as bb's and cv's

i think only ss1 should be allowed in blitz, their dmg output isn't unfair vs smaller ships. Due to their air restrictions the ss1 is hardly viable in GB2 anyways.

Why would you put a SS1 that can dive for ~ a minute in a room full of FFs, DDs, and CLs?

The point of the matter is that an SS1 or even an SS2 wouldn't really effect any type of balancing issues in a blitz. It would be no less of a struggle for the sub than in a current GBII (probably harder in blitz) but looking at it from the broad view of the balance of blitz is doesn't upset it. The only issue I could see is the level of the SS3 for KM and RN being that these subs could be played in blitz with the current level restrictions.
