Premium Ships in general pick up a certain percentage more exp than other ships. Playing AA as well gets you good exp but I believe the boost you experience is playing in a Premium CA.

You get more exp from AA'ing, generally because you are actually doing something for the team.

Coolies...so what is considering 'decent' performance in an AA ship? even a single kill? or a few ;p

I'd say decent performance in an AA ship would be getting at least 6k+ personal credits in plane kills.

Anything over 10k+ personal credits is extraordinary and definitely something to be proud of :-).

BUT, getting those amounts of personal credits without TKing ANY friendly planes = priceless

hehe well i only started today, and im getting anywhere in between 1-3k creds and not touching friendly planes :)

SN PCA Petropavlovsk, 5.1" Dual SD-2 guns with 2.76 rld on T slots (7 binds of ammo for each guns - max).
Yeah the worst nation to AA with, but who cares, i'm AAer...

Here i did only 12606 creds and got 80k exp (during 50% exp increase event) :

pretty far from my SN personal record 17752, but good exp. Also i'm almost done lvling with AA till SN BB4, just 2 lvls left for BO, supports at lvl, both sets of gunners 91 now :D

KM AA is not the best, actually there aren't best AA nation. It's the skills to aim the shots, not spam them (you KM AA spammer nubs, i wonder why noone uses KM 28 or 29 GA long range AA capable guns...) but i would still pick IJN as the top one :)

P.S. forgot to mention, during that 300% increase in vet conversions, burned 3 FULL times my experts (spent all events expert savings) and i'm full with FREE experts again just from AAing (also saving expert items for next events), good luck CVs!
