Let that CV get into enemy surface ships range and don't bother protecting it:

You're a CV5 you don't get surface cover.

If your behind the bb5s and asking for cv support that could be a reason, if he is already support bb5-6s on front line or scouting that could be a reason.

A cv player is not entitled to protect your ship, its up to them who they want to cover and who they don't. I would cover a bb5-6 over a bb4 unless that bb4 is a skilled driver and pwning the enemy.


However ''Your a bb4 you dont get fighter cover'' is uncalled for. I have turned down request for help when i was to busy to send it (like tied up south keep sight for my team in massive enemy fps and AA). I have never giving a childish reason like that though.

Just ignore the kiddy stuff and play the game. Heck I don't even read chat half the time during battle, lol heck i don't even read chat 90% seating in battle waiting to go(mostly switch to web).

We must remember that English is for many players a second language or they may not know much at all, so with that being said the player may not have meant anything rude by it but simply that is the most direct translation that they know.

I try not to take anything said in game to literally unless it is a blatent term directed towards me. but then that is what support tickets are for. ;)

Most often if language isn't a barrier then it can often be worked out via pm/whisper to try and get the players meaning, or their point of view. Also it is a good way to weed out the good people from the idiots. The idiots will most likely say more stupid things to reinforce a good ban.

I support players worth supporting. Tier dosnt matter so much and i will support a good BB234 player over a poor BB56 player. I dont know you and cant comment on you as a player but just ask yourself, are you worth supporting?

It kinda depends on whether there is a better player in a higher tier ship worth supporting instead. Of course, it isn't terribly difficult to do something crazy and support multiple BBs.
